WORK EXPERIENCE
I have over 20 years of experience in photography, filmmaking, and 3D production, spanning commercials, feature films, animated features, and episodic content.
I began my career as an industrial designer and quickly transitioned into computer graphics, eventually specializing in lighting, look development, and cinematography for animation and VFX. Over the years, I have helped studios build post-production pipelines and contributed across multiple roles, progressing from generalist to lighting specialist and Director of Photography.
I am currently the Studio Director of Photography at Bardel Entertainment in Vancouver, British Columbia, and I also teach at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where I mentor emerging artists in visual storytelling, lighting, and creative direction.
Alongside studio work, I have worked as a freelance cinematographer on live-action productions of varying scale, applying the same principles of light, composition, and narrative clarity across physical and virtual environments.
EDUCATION
My education spans both formal fine-art training and extensive self-directed technical study. I trained in traditional painting and set design at the Fine Art Academy of Naples, while developing my computer graphics, photography, and cinematography skills independently through professional practice.
This hybrid background allows me to bridge artistic intent with technical execution — a perspective that informs both my professional work and my approach to teaching and mentorship.
